Haridwar, October 10 (HS). Ranipur Kotwali police has arrested four accused including husband and wife in the mobile robbery case. Police have recovered the scooter used in the incident and seven stolen mobile phones from the accused. The accused have been to jail in the past also.
According to the information, on October 8, Mukesh Kumar Gupta, resident of BHEL Haridwar and on October 09, Priya Rawat, resident of Ramdham Colony, Ranipur, a case was registered against unknown people in connection with snatching of mobile phone.
The team of Ranipur Kotwali in-charge Kamal Mohan Bhandari and SSI Manohar Rawat started efforts to nab the accused. After examining the CCTV cameras around the incident sites, the team, with the help of the informer network, arrested the two accused, husband and wife, involved in the incident. During interrogation, his two other associates were traced and they were also arrested by the police. 7 stolen mobile phones were recovered from the accused.
