Four criminals arrested in case of attempted robbery of cement rod trader | News India

Koderma, 26 August (HS). The police has arrested the accused of looting Santosh Sahu, a cement-rod trader located in Gumo under Jhumritilaiya police station of the district and solved the entire case.

When the businessman reached the shop after demanding money, the miscreants pointed a gun at him as soon as he got down from the car, after which the youths standing nearby attacked the criminals and caught one criminal and handed him over to the police. The others fled from the scene. On the instructions of Koderma SP Anudeep Singh, a team was formed and other criminals involved in the incident were arrested. In this regard, SP Anudeep Singh said on Monday that the criminals were attempting a robbery near Gumo Chowk under Tilaiya police station, from where a criminal Amit Singh alias Godda was caught red-handed with a weapon and bullets.

Weapons and bullets were confiscated from him. In this regard, a written application was given by Santosh Kumar Sao to Tilaiya police station on which Tilaiya police station registered a case against accused Amit Kumar and started investigation.

During the investigation, apart from the weapon and bullet, a mobile phone was also seized from accused Amit Singh alias Godda. On his information, the Indigo car (Tata company) used in the crime was seized. On the information given by the arrested accused Rajkumar Singh alias Golu, a red-black colour Passion Pro motorcycle was seized. On the basis of the confession of Amit Singh alias Godda and Rajkumar Singh alias Golu, the criminals Sameer Shrivastav and Nikhil Singh, who had provided the weapon and bullet used in the crime, have also been arrested.

In this case, the police has confiscated one country-made pistol, three live cartridges of 315 bore, Tata Indigo car, Passion Pro motorcycle, five mobile phones and one helmet. Cases are already registered against these accused in various police stations. The raiding team included Vinay Kumar, Sub Inspector cum Station Incharge of Tilaiya Police Station, Nitai Chandra Sah, Sub Inspector of Tilaiya Police Station, Pramod Kumar Singh, Sub Inspector of Tilaiya Police Station and personnel of the technical branch and Panther Jawan.
