Four children died in two days in Indore's orphanage

Indore, 2 July (HS). Four children have died in two days due to deterioration in the health of some children in an orphanage in Indore. On receiving information about the incident that took place at Yugpurush Dham Intellectual Development Center located at Panchkuiyan in Indore, Collector Ashish Singh immediately reached Yugpurush Dham and Chacha Nehru Children's Hospital on Tuesday along with the officials of the concerned departments. Here he inquired about the health of the sick children. He gave instructions for the best possible treatment of the sick children admitted in the hospital. Collector Ashish Singh again reached Yugpurush Dham in the afternoon. Here he inspected in detail and obtained the actual situation and other information regarding the incident.

Collector Ashish Singh reached the spot himself on getting information about the incident. Later, a team of officials from Food Safety, Health, Women and Child Development and Police Department under the leadership of Additional Collector Rajendra Raghuvanshi was also sent to Yugpurush Dham for preliminary investigation. The team inspected and saw the actual situation. The team also took samples of food items for testing. The collector has instructed the doctors to ensure the best possible treatment of the sick children.

Collector Ashish Singh said that a total of 20 children from Yugpurush Dham have been admitted to Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya. Four children have died in the last two days. The collector has formed a team of specialist doctors from MY Hospital and Chacha Nehru Hospital and has started the health checkup of every child of Yugpurush Dham. The names of the dead children are Shubham alias Karan, Akash, Shubh and Chhota Govind. The age of all is between 5 to 15 years.

A high level committee has been constituted to investigate the entire incident in detail

Collector Ashish Singh has directed that the incident of children falling ill be investigated in detail and thoroughly. He has constituted a high level committee for detailed investigation of the entire incident. This committee includes Additional Collector Gaurav Benal, Joint Director Women and Child Development Dr. Sandhya Vyas, Superintendent of Chacha Nehru Children's Hospital and Head of the Department of Pediatrics Dr. Preeti Malpani and Senior Pediatrician Dr. Shrilekha Joshi.

The collector removed the SDM

Collector Ashish Singh has removed SDM of Malharganj area Omnarayan Singh Badkul from the post of SDM and attached him to the district election office.
