Foundation stone of modern bus stand laid in Ballia, ISBT will also be built

Ballia, 09 March (His). Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various projects worth about three hundred crores in a program organized at the Roadways Complex on Saturday. Along with this, it was announced that interstate bus stand ISBT will also be constructed here.

The Transport Minister laid the foundation stone of the modern bus stand to be built at the district headquarters along with the bus stand at Ujiyar Ghat and a total of 80 projects of the Public Works Department to be built at a cost of Rs 72.86 crore. This also includes culverts on Tekar Bandha to Muktidham road and Jamua Ring Bandha to Dharikshana Das's hut road. Urban Development Department also laid the foundation stone of 65 works worth Rs 17.60 crore and inaugurated 32 construction works worth Rs 6.38 crore.

The Transport Minister said that the people of Ballia city have given me five years. In these five years, I will do everything that I promised before the elections. The construction of STP was also stopped, now it will also be built rapidly. The sewerage system of the city will be repaired. There will be supply of pure drinking water to every house. He said that about 60 percent of the work of election promises has been completed. I will soon get the Chief Minister to lay the foundation stone for the beautification of the Medical College and Jackfruit Drain.

Flood spot will be created in Ballia: DM

DM Ravindra Kumar said that the model bus station to be built here will definitely become the identity of this district. It is our endeavor that Ballia becomes full of every modern facility. Work is also underway to build a vehicle training center. Soon a floodplain will be built in the district, where many people displaced during floods will be able to live together. On this occasion, Transport Department MD Masoom Ali Sarwar, Special Secretary of Transport Department KP Singh, BJP District President Sanjay Yadav, Jaiprakash Sahu, Municipal Corporation President Sant Kumar Gupta etc. were present.
