Gorakhpur, March 02 (HS). Chief Minister Yogi gifted 48 development projects worth Rs 1006 crore to Gorakhpur during the foundation stone laying and inauguration ceremony of 48 development projects worth Rs 1006 crore held at Mahant Digvijaynath Park. These include the laying of foundation stone of 35 projects worth more than Rs 954 crore and inauguration of 13 projects worth more than Rs 52 crore.
The projects inaugurated and foundation stone laying include numerous flood protection, fly overs, road and drain construction, construction of residential and non-residential buildings in Police Training School, shifting of MES office, tourism development works.
Foundation stone of these major projects laid
– Widening and strengthening work of 2/4 lane road (4.230 km) from HN Singh intersection to Gorakhnath temple via Hadhwa gate – cost Rs 245.44 crore.
– Construction of four lane flyover on Hadhwa Gate Level Crossing No. 2 Special – Cost Rs 201 crore 24 lakh.
– Construction of four lane flyover at Padri Bazar intersection of Bargadwa-Kaubag jail bypass four lane road – cost Rs 98 crore 34 lakh.
– Construction of pavilion (Phase-2) on Astroturf hockey ground of Veer Bahadur Singh Sports College – cost Rs 22 crore 22 lakh.
