Jaipur, 9 April (HS). Akashvani Kendra Jaipur celebrated its 69th foundation day on Tuesday. On this occasion, Caravan of Memories program was organized by the Centre. Retired officers and broadcasting personnel of All India Radio shared their experiences in the programme. During this, the Centre's Program and News Head Nilesh Kumar Kalbhor mentioned the challenges faced by the broadcasting personnel to keep the listeners connected to the radio. He said that for this everyone needs to work together with new thinking.
Cluster head Satish Depal and center engineering head Lokesh Kumar and a large number of other officers and employees participated in the program. The vote of thanks program was organized by Executive Reshma Khan.
It is noteworthy that All India Radio has played an important role in spreading information to remote areas of the country. Apart from information, education and entertainment based programs, it has played a special role in bringing positive changes in the society through broadcasting of accurate news. Jaipur center of All India Radio started broadcasting from 9 April 1955.
