With an aim to promote domestic tourism and provide career options to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, the Tourism Department and the Indian Racing League jointly organized a Formula 4 racing event on the banks of Dal Lake on Sunday. The 1.7 km long Formula-4 car race was held from Lalit Ghat to Nehru Park on the banks of Dal Lake in Srinagar.
