Former Union Minister and Banka Lok Sabha candidate Jayaprakash Narayan Yadav reached Ajaibinath Dham in Sultanganj of the district on Saturday where he was welcomed by RJD workers. During this, former Union Minister Jayaprakash Narayan Yadav along with RJD workers distributed fruits among hundreds of Kanwarias near Krishnagarh turn.
Jaiprakash Narayan Yadav said that the Kanwariyas coming from all over the country and abroad to Ajaibinath Dham in Sultanganj travel on foot to Deoghar. The RJD family has been serving all the Kanwariyas for the last 25 years. On the question of Shravani Mela being declared a national fair, he said that we have been demanding this for years but till now Shravani Mela has not been given the status of a national fair.
He said that the name of Sultanganj is a good name. As soon as the name of Sultanganj comes up, the name of Ajaibinaath Dham comes up. He said that Sultanganj has not been given the status of a subdivision. We have been demanding the status of a subdivision but the government is not paying attention to it. During this time, RJD district president Chandrashekhar Yadav, Rinku Raj, district backward class president Nat Bihari Mandal, RJD block president Kailash Prasad Yadav, Diwakar Mandal, Manjar Alam, Shashi Ranjan Singh, former chief Santosh Mandal, Dilip Yadav, Gopal Kumar and other RJD workers were present.
