Former MP Jayaprada acquitted in Rampur court in code of conduct violation case

Rampur, 16 October (HS). The MP-MLA Court on Wednesday acquitted former MP and actress Jayaprada in the 2019 model code of conduct violation case. The former MP has expressed his gratitude to the court.

A case was registered against him in Swar police station for violating the code of conduct during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He was accused of inaugurating a road in Noorpur village despite the code of conduct being in place. Its video was also made public. The hearing of this case took place in the local MP-MLA court. The court on Wednesday acquitted former MP Jayaprada due to lack of evidence. Jayaprada was present in the court during the hearing. After the decision came in his favor he thanked the court.
