Former MP Dhananjay Singh sent to Bareilly jail

Jaunpur, 27 April (HIST). Former MP and strongman leader Dhananjay Singh, who was serving a seven-year sentence, was taken out of the district jail on Saturday morning and sent to Bareilly District Jail in an ambulance.

According to the information received, the order for jail transfer had arrived on Thursday evening itself. Its implementation took place on Saturday morning. During this period, tight security arrangements were made.

It is noteworthy that Dhananjay Singh's wife Srikala Dhananjay Singh Reddy is said to be contesting the Lok Sabha elections on BSP ticket.
