Prayagraj, 13 November (HS). To garner Brahmin votes in the by-election of Phulpur Assembly, former MLA Udaybhan Karwaria contested in support of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Deepak Patel. Meanwhile, MLA Pooja Pal also appealed to make Deepak Patel victorious.
On Wednesday, the flamboyant former MLA Udaybhan Karwariya did public contact at places like Kakra, Durvasa, Tiwaripur, Chhivaiya etc. of Durvasa Mandal and requested for lotus to bloom in the Phulpur Assembly by-election. Ashwini Kumar Dwivedi, Brijesh Tripathi, Amarnath Tiwari, Kanhaiyalal Pandey, Atma Dhar Dwivedi, Gopinath Swarnkar, Atul Pandey etc. were present on the said occasion.
MLA Pooja Pal also went to Pal Gaderia community and did public relations in Faizullapur, Aliganj, Madarpur, Sankara, Kotari villages in support of BJP candidate Deepak Patel and appealed to make Deepak Patel win. During this, all the workers including Anil Kumar Saroj, Rakesh Kumar Vishwakarma, Mannu Pal, Vijay Pal, Ramsurat Pal were present.
