Former MLA Radhakrishna Kishore resigns from RJD

Palamu, April 17 (Hindustan Reporter) Former Chhatarpur-Patan MLA and senior Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Radhakrishna Kishore has resigned from the primary membership of the party. He has also sent a copy of his resignation to State President Sanjay Kumar Singh Yadav. Along with Kishore, RJD state general secretary Prashant Kishore and secretary Rajkamal Tiwari have also resigned.

Radhakrishna Kishore informed about his resignation while talking to journalists along with dozens of workers in Medininagar on Wednesday. He alleged that RJD is no longer a party of social brotherhood for A2Z and development. Kishor also appeared hurt over the statement given by Palamu Lok Sabha convenor and former state president Gautam Sagar Rana, which divided the society. He also expressed concern over Tejashwi Yadav's failure to form 2Z party. Radhakrishna Kishore said that at present he will not join any political party. In the Lok Sabha elections, we will work for the person who is working for the development of Palamu-Garhwa. We will also support the candidate whose victory strengthens national unity and integrity.

Kishore said that senior leader of Rashtriya Janata Dal, Tejashwi Yadav had given the slogan that our party is a party of all sections of the society (A2Z), but on the other hand, while starting the election campaign of Palamu Lok Sabha, senior party leader Gautam Sagar Rana In a statement given to an electronic media, he has said that if Modi wins the elections, the country will turn towards Brahminism. Gautam Sagar Rana's statement on the occasion of Lok Sabha elections clearly states that RJD is not a party of 2Z. It is an established truth that trust is a great asset for any political organization. If the workers and the public lose confidence in the party, then the political party cannot establish itself among the public.

It is known that a few days ago, Jharkhand's senior and experienced leader Girinath Singh was included in RJD with much fanfare. Girinath Singh Chatra wanted to contest elections from Lok Sabha. After being included in the party, Girinath Singh was not made the candidate from Chatra Lok Sabha. If Girinath Singh was made a candidate for the Lok Sabha seat from Chatra, it would have sent a good message to the Gold voters. State RJD workers are feeling cheated by contesting elections only from Palamu Lok Sabha seat under the alliance.

Impressed by Rashtriya Janata Dal's principles of social justice and upliftment of all classes, I took membership of RJD in the year 2020. RJD, the party which won 13 assembly seats in Jharkhand region in 1995 and stood second in 15 seats, was reduced to only one seat in the 2019 assembly elections. As a result, a feeling of disappointment and frustration spread among the party workers. State RJD workers believed that by contesting elections on two-four assembly seats, the party cannot expand itself in the entire state of Jharkhand. Party workers felt that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, RJD should contest on four seats of Chatra, Palamu, Koderma and Godda and about 25 assembly seats. It is unfortunate for the party that in the name of alliance the party could win only one Lok Sabha seat, Palamu. It is clear that under the alliance, RJD is not going to get more than two-four seats in the upcoming assembly elections.
