Purnia, 20 September (HS). Attachment and confiscation action was taken at the residence of RJD state vice-president and former Rupauli MLA Bima Bharti in Bhittha. Police from several police stations were present during this action. This action has been taken in connection with the famous Gopal Yaduka murder case. Bima Bharti's husband Awadhesh Mandal and son Raja Mandal are accused in the Gopal Yaduka murder case. Recently, Awadhesh Mandal surrendered in the Purnia Civil Court, while his son Raja Mandal is still absconding.

In this case, the process of attachment and confiscation has been done on the order of the court. Purnia Superintendent of Police Kartikeya Sharma confirmed this action and said, “Warrants were issued against the husband and son of former MLA Bima Bharti. Husband Awadhesh Mandal had surrendered, while son Raja was absconding. This process of attachment and confiscation has been done after the order of the court.”
