Ranchi, September 02 (HS). The bail plea of Sanjeev Kumar Lal, PS of former Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam, in the case of recovery of Rs 32.30 crore cash of tender commission will be heard on September 7.
Sanjeev Lal has filed a petition in the court of PMLA Special Judge PK Sharma on August 31, pleading for bail. The petition was listed for hearing on Monday but the ED sought time. The court has fixed September 7 as the next date of hearing.
It is noteworthy that during the raid on May 6, ED had seized Rs 32.30 crore from the premises of Sanjeev Lal and his servant Jahangir Alam.
