Haryana Election Result: After the year 2019, Dushyant Chautala of JJP i.e. Jananayak Janata Party became the king maker. He was also made the Deputy Chief Minister in the coalition government formed with the Bharatiya Janata Party. Now after five years, the situation is such that neither he himself nor any candidate of the party can win the Haryana Assembly elections 2024. Apart from this, the vote share of the entire party could not go above even 1 percent.
The stir in BJP changed all the equations
Dushyant was on the post of Deputy CM till a few months before the assembly elections, but the turmoil in BJP changed all the equations. The JJP-BJP alliance broke and the party members separated and the 2024 assembly elections proved to be a big shock for them.
Due to less votes the security deposit is also outstanding.
Dushyant, who contested from Uchana Kalan seat of Haryana, got less than 5 percent votes. Also, his name was included among those party leaders whose deposits were confiscated.
On this seat, Devendra Chaturbhuj Attari of BJP defeated Brijendra Singh of Congress by just 32 votes. On this seat, Dushyant lagged behind two independent candidates Vikas and Virendra Khokhriya. He lost by more than 41 thousand votes. The party's vote share also fell from 15 percent to less than 1 percent.
