Zhu Rongji, the former Prime Minister of China and considered the country’s leading economic reformer, has died in Beijing at the age of 98. According to official information received, he died due to illness in Beijing at around 11 am on Wednesday.

However, later returning to the political scene, he took over the reins of the country as Prime Minister from 1998 to 2003 and made many major administrative and economic changes.
