Ranchi, August 28 (HS). Chief Minister Champai Soren on Wednesday resigned from the primary membership and all posts of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM). He informed about this by releasing a letter on the social media platform X. He said that today he resigned from the primary membership and all posts of JMM. Our struggle will continue on the issues of tribals, natives, Dalits, backward and common people of Jharkhand.
Earlier, while talking to journalists at Ranchi airport, Champai Soren said that I have taken a very thoughtful decision to join BJP. He will join BJP on 30th August. He said that my decision to join BJP will not only affect the politics of Kolhan but the entire Jharkhand. On the question of spying, he said that the government can do whatever it wants, I am not going to be afraid. I have taken the right decision. We will always have faith in JMM supremo Shibu Soren.
Champai Soren has written in his resignation
Respected Guruji. Johar!
I, Champai Soren, am upset with the current working style and policies of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and am compelled to leave the party. It is with great sadness that I have to say that the party which workers like us had dreamt of under your guidance and for which we had scoured the jungles, mountains and villages, has today strayed from that path. JMM has been like a family to me and I never even dreamt that I would have to leave it. But due to the events of the last few days, I am having to take this difficult decision with great pain.
Due to your current health, you are away from active politics, and apart from you, there is no forum in the party where we can express our pain. Due to this, I am resigning from the primary membership and all the posts of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. Under your guidance, during the Jharkhand movement and even after that, I have had the opportunity to learn a lot in life. You will always remain my guide. Hence, I humbly request you to kindly accept my resignation. Thank you!
