Former Air Force Chief Rakesh Kumar Bhadauria has joined BJP. He took command of the Air Force in October 2019. Before this he was Deputy Air Chief. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has also shared this information by posting on social media platform X. Along with Bhadauria, former MP Tirupati Shri Varaprasad Rao also joined BJP.

There are speculations that Bhadauria's name may be included in the next list of BJP candidates. It is expected that he can be made the candidate from Ghaziabad seat in place of former Army Chief VK Singh. On joining BJP, Rakesh Kumar Bhadauria said that during my service period, BJP has given many golden opportunities to the army.

Let us tell you that RK Bhadauria is a resident of Uttar Pradesh. His father Surajpal Singh was a Master Warrant Officer in the Air Force. His daughter Sonali is also a pilot. He is said to have played a role in bringing Rafale into the country. After RK Bhadauria, Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhary became the Chief of the Air Force. From September 2019 to September 2021, he held the post of Chief of the Air Force. Bhadauria was part of the team that was negotiating with France for the Rafale jet.

So far, candidates have been announced on 51 seats in Uttar Pradesh and this time candidates can be announced on the remaining seats in the list as well.
