Formation of self-help group awakened awareness among women about education: Anandiben Patel

Mirzapur, March 02 (HS). Highlighting the importance of formation of self-help groups, Governor Anandiben Patel said that formation of groups of women has awakened their consciousness towards education. She was addressing the program organized on Saturday at the Government Polytechnic campus in Bathua.

Emphasizing on education, the Governor said that it is often seen that in most of the government schools, girls are sent and sons are sent to private convent schools, but when the children of the same government schools reach inter colleges and universities, when the school children go to If honored in the gold medalist category, 80 percent of them are girls.

Anandiben Patel said that India will develop only when girls and women are self-reliant, educated and healthy. Emphasizing on strengthening the Anganwadi centres, he said that today Anganwadi workers are working in many areas including providing primary education to children. There is a need to make efforts for the development of health and education because these Anganwadi and primary school children will make an important contribution in making India a fully developed nation in the next 25 years. So far 30,000 kits have been delivered to Anganwadi centers in Uttar Pradesh.

University professors will come to teach the children of Anganwadi center

The Governor said that there is a need to create a channel from Anganwadi to primary school, secondary, intermediate and university level. University professors and teachers will sometimes have to come and teach in Anganwadi centers and will have to take the children on a tour to the university and work on the importance of education.

More than three lakh TB patients in Uttar Pradesh are healthy, India will be TB free by 2025

Emphasizing on making India TB-free by 2025 and strengthening Anganwadi centres, the Governor said that TB-free campaign was launched in the entire country and today more than three lakh TB patients have become healthy in the entire Uttar Pradesh. This work will continue in future also. Gradually many agencies are also coming forward and contributing in the field of TB free India and education.
