Forensic tests confirmed that the mother's blood sample was taken instead of the minor's blood

Mumbai: Police told the court that the forensic laboratory report has proved that the blood sample of the 17-year-old minor involved in the Pune Porsche car accident was replaced with the blood sample of her mother. On the other hand, the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) has extended the remand of the minor till June 12.

On May 19, two doctors and a staffer of Sasoon General Hospital were arrested for allegedly replacing the blood sample of a minor who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. One of the accused doctors was in touch with the minor's father.

The minor's mother was arrested on June 1 on charges of conspiracy. The police produced the minor's parents, two doctors and a staff member in court on Wednesday. The court has extended the custody of two doctors and a staff member till June 7. The sessions court has extended the police custody of the minor's parents till June 10 following a request from the police.

Two IT professionals travelling on a two-wheeler died in an accident involving a Porsche car driven by a minor in Kalyani Nagar, Pune on May 19. Police claim that the minor was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
