Foreign liquor recovered from a truck going from Siliguri to Araria

Kishanganj, 03 August (HS). On Saturday, Pauchhali SHO Ashutosh Kumar Mishra along with his team, under the leadership of SDPO Thakurganj Manglesh Kumar Singh, seized a consignment of foreign liquor from Pauchhali police station area under Thakurganj block of the district.

According to the information received, the police had received information about foreign liquor being carried in a truck going from Siliguri to Araria. After which, foreign liquor has been recovered in the action taken by the police. In this regard, Pauchhali SHO Ashutosh Kumar Mishra said that acting on the information of the Central Prohibition and Excise Department, the police has recovered a large quantity of cartons of foreign liquor from inside the mold of the power transformer loaded in the truck. The police has started further action. At present, the quantity of liquor is being counted.
