'For those who spread hatred…', these words came out in the mind of a Pakistani leader before the Lok Sabha election results

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: The counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections is almost over and the results of 543 seats in the country are coming in. According to the counting of votes so far, the BJP-led NDA is achieving a majority and is leading on more than 296 seats. In such a situation, the performance of the alliance of opposition parties including Congress, 'INDIA', is seen to be quite good. India Alliance is leading on 227 seats. Reactions have started coming from Pakistan on the initial results.

Fawad Chaudhary, former information minister in the Imran Khan government of Pakistan, is constantly monitoring the vote counting and he seems quite happy with the performance of the India alliance. He is targeting the BJP even before the official results.

Fawad Chaudhry reacted on the social media platform X, writing that he always had faith in the Indian voters that they would reject hate-mongers and extremists.

Update on the meeting of PM Modi and Rajnath Singh

PM Modi is contesting from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh. In the initial phase, Prime Minister Modi was trailing behind Congress' Ajay Rai by more than 6 thousand votes. However, he soon overtook the Congress candidate.

Initially, even in the first round of counting, Rajnath Singh was trailing behind Samajwadi Party candidate Ravidas Mehrotra from Lucknow Lok Sabha seat. But now he has moved ahead.

Some exit polls had said that BJP will get more than 400 seats this time, but based on the votes counted so far, this figure does not seem to be achieved. Fawad Chaudhary also gave his reaction on this. He said, 'These figures have been shown very exaggerated in the exit polls.

Indian Muslims…

Journalist Umar R Qureshi, media advisor to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who was foreign minister in the previous government of Shahbaz Sharif, has also given his reaction to the initial results on social media.

On X, Qureshi wrote, 'Maybe…' Indian Muslims are collectively breathing a sigh of relief today.' In another tweet, he wrote, 'Even a single seat less than 350 will be considered a big setback for the BJP. If Modi forms the government for the third time, it will be his weakest government till date.

Pakistan also reacted to the exit poll

There was a lot of reaction from Pakistan on the exit poll. The exit poll results were released late in the evening after the final phase of voting ended on Saturday.

Talking to a news channel, former Pakistan Foreign Secretary Ejaz Chaudhary said, 'What we have seen so far… whatever Mr Modi said in his election campaign, he made it his priority and implemented it. He mentioned Article 370 in the 2019 elections and implemented it as soon as he came to power. I think his biggest priority at the moment is to make India a Hindu nation.' And he has also started a lot of work for this.

Ejaz Chaudhary further said, 'Then no one in Pakistan will have any objection to this…and if there is a Hindu majority there then make a Hindu nation…what difference does it make to us. But they were already creating problems for Muslims and people of other religions, Hindu nation will create more problems.
