For the opposition, Kanshi Ram’s honor is just an election show, Mayawati made a big attack on Congress, SP and BJP.

News India Live, Digital Desk: National President of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Mayawati has today opened a front against the opposition parties on the occasion of the birth anniversary of BSP founder Honorable Shri Kanshi Ram Ji. While paying tribute to Kanshi Ram ji in a grand program organized in Lucknow, Mayawati took on Congress, Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said in clear words that the parties which are claiming the legacy of Kanshi Ram ji today are actually ‘vote traders’.

Sharp attack on opposition: “Kanshi Ram is being remembered only for power”

Mayawati targeted Congress and SP through social media platform ‘X’ and press statement, saying that remembering Dalit great men has now become an “opportunistic fashion” for these parties. Pointing to the recent programs of Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav, he said that when these parties were in power, they neither remembered Baba Saheb Ambedkar nor Honorable Kanshi Ram.

The hypocrisy of Congress and SP exposed

Mayawati asked some tough questions citing historical facts:

Issue of Bharat Ratna: He asked that Congress held power at the Center for decades, but why did it have to wait till 1990 to give Bharat Ratna to Baba Saheb Ambedkar?

Questions on national mourning: The BSP chief alleged that when Honorable Kanshi Ram ji passed away, the Congress sitting at the Center and the SP government of UP did not declare even a day of national mourning.

Protest in reservation: Attacking Congress and SP, he said that instead of supporting the ‘Reservation in Promotion’ bill in Parliament, these parties had worked to tear it down.

Called SP’s ‘PDA’ a big deception

Attacking Samajwadi Party’s ‘PDA’ (Backward, Dalit, Minority) slogan, Mayawati termed it electoral selfishness. He said that SP’s politics has always been anti-Dalit. Mayawati gave the example that the name of ‘Manyavar Shri Kanshiram Ji Urdu, Arabic, Persian University’ established in Lucknow was first changed by the SP government and then by the BJP government by making it ‘Bhasha University’, its importance was destroyed.

Call to Bahujan Samaj to acquire ‘Master Key’

Mayawati appealed to her supporters and workers not to get misled by anyone. He said that acquiring the “master key of power” would be a true tribute to Kanshi Ram ji. He asked the Dalit, backward and Muslim communities to come united under the flag of BSP, so that the rights granted in the Constitution can be implemented on the ground.
