For the first time in the history of MGSU, the convocation ceremony will be held on the foundation day.

Bikaner, May 22 (HS). For the first time in the history of Maharaja Ganga Singh University (MGSU), the eighth convocation is also being organized on its 21st foundation day on June 07, 2024, in which Governor Kalraj Mishra along with Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa is also proposed to attend.

Dean Students Welfare Dr. Meghna Sharma said that in order to make the Foundation Day grand, under the banner of Dean-Student Welfare, inter-college competitions are being organized under the Foundation Week from 1st June to 7th June, in which the students of the University and all the affiliated colleges – Invitations have been sent for the participation of girl students. On Wednesday, the brochure along with the contact details of the coordinators and in-charges of various competitions was released by Financial Controller and In-charge Registrar Arvind Bishnoi, Dean Student Welfare Dr. Meghna Sharma and Associate Dean Dr. Prabhudan was done by Charan in the administrative building.

Dean Dr. Meghna Sharma informed that for the first time in the history of the university, Maharaja Ganga Singh Award and Maharaja Karni Singh Sports Award proposed by the Dean-Student Welfare Department have been approved by the Academic Council and Management Board, under which the best performing player in academic co-curricular activities and sports from the entire university jurisdiction will be honored in the 21st Foundation Day celebrations.
