A new record has been set in the number of domestic air passengers in India. More than 5 lakh passengers flew from all the airlines of the country in a day. All the airlines of India together have made this record by carrying 5,05,412 passengers.

The number of domestic air passengers in the country has set a new record. A total of 505412 domestic passengers traveled by air in India in a day. This is the first time that the number of domestic air passengers has crossed 5 lakh in a day. Yesterday, a rush of incoming and outgoing passengers was seen at various airports in the country. An increase has been recorded in the number of passengers arriving at the airport and taking off from the airport.

Yesterday i.e. on 17th November, a total of 505412 domestic passengers traveled at airports located in different states of India in a single day, breaking all previous records. A total of 3173 domestic flights took off and 3164 domestic flights arrived at the airport yesterday with a total of 502198 passengers arriving and 505412 passengers departing for their destinations. A total of 6337 domestic flights arrived and departed in the country. This is the first time that so many people have traveled by air together in the country. This also reflects the increasing demand for air travel in the country.

Number of passengers increased after Diwali

There has been an increase in the number of people traveling by air daily since Diwali. The number of air passengers increases in the month of November due to school holidays and weddings. There has been a steady increase in air traffic in the last two weeks, with 4.9 lakh passengers traveling by air on November 8, following which there has been a steady increase in the number of air passengers.

On November 9, a total of 4.96 lakh passengers traveled from all the airlines across the country. Whereas on 14, 15 and 16 November, 4.97 lakh, 4.99 lakh and 4.98 lakh passengers traveled. All these records of the journey were broken on 17 November. The increase in air traffic at this time is good news for many airlines in the country. Not only aviation companies benefit from this. Rather, its positive impact will also be seen on the country’s economy.
