Star striker Kylian Mbappe continued his impressive form as he scored his sixth goal in the last five games as Real Madrid beat Alaves 3-2 in the Spanish La Liga.
In the 40th minute of the game, Mbappe headed the ball into the goalpost after a mistake from an opponent defender when he received a pass inside the box.
Mbappe had to leave the field in the 80th minute due to a muscle strain. Lucas Vazquez and Rodrigo also scored for Madrid. With this win, Real Madrid extended their winning streak in the Spanish league to 39 matches, including 29 wins and 10 draws last season. Alaves tried to come back in the match with goals from Carlos Venavidez in the 85th minute and Kike Garcia in the 86th minute, but missed a few chances to equalize the score in the final minutes. Mbappe has scored seven goals in nine matches in all leagues with Madrid. He has five goals in the Spanish league and is one goal behind Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski.
