Football: Atalanta beats Marseille 3-0 to enter Europa League final for the first time

With goals from Ademola Lookman, Matteo Ruggeri and Il Bilal, Atalanta Football Club defeated Olympique de Marseille 3-0 to reach the Europa League final for the first time. Atalanta won both legs with an aggregate score of 4–1. In the 30th minute, Lukman gave the team a 1-0 lead by kicking from a long distance. Ruggeri scored a goal in the seventh minute of the second half to make the score 2-0. Touré's substitute Bilal scored in the fourth minute of stoppage time to give Atalanta a 3–0 win. Atlanta has a chance to win the double title. He will play the final against Juventus next Wednesday. Atalanta have only won one major trophy so far. They won the Coppa Italia trophy in 1963. Atalanta, who are fifth in the Serie A league, also have a chance to qualify for next year's Champions League. On Sunday they will play traditional rivals Roma.

Leverkusen defeated AS with a dramatic strike in the last minute. The second leg of the semi-final against Roma ended in a 2–2 draw and they advanced to the final with a 4–2 aggregate score, where they would face Atalanta. Roma's Gianluca Mancini scored an own goal after trailing 2-0 till the 82nd minute of the match. Jozef Stancic scored a goal in the last moments to level the score at 2-2 and ensure the team's entry into the final.
