Jaipur, July 31 (HS). The Food Safety and Health Department inspected M/s Hotel Bella Casa Ashram Marg Tonk Road Jaipur on Wednesday. During this, huge irregularities were found.
Additional Food Commissioner Pankaj Ojha said that for a long time, complaints of irregularities were being received in Hotel Bella Casa. On this, a team of officials of Food Safety and Chief Medical – Health Officer Jaipur inspected M/s Hotel Bella Casa Ashram Marg Tonk Road Jaipur on Wednesday. During the inspection, a huge amount of dirt was found. Hygiene and sanitation was not found satisfactory. Neither medical certificate of the working food handlers nor the water test report was found. On inspection of the kitchen, veg and non-veg food was being prepared on the same platform and a packet of expired semolina was found on the spot, which was destroyed on the spot. Tagging is not being done on any food item being prepared in the kitchen. The packet of bread found on the spot also did not have tagging and the quality of paneer was also not found to be good.
Under the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006, samples of paneer vegetable gravy, used cooking oil and cashew nuts were taken from the spot for testing and action will be taken as per rules after receiving the test report. In view of the deficiencies found on the spot, a notice is being issued to the food business operator under Section 32. If this is not followed, action will be initiated to cancel the food license.
