Babies between 6 and 10 months should be given mother's milk and breakfast twice a day. At the same time, after 10 to 12 months, the child should be given 3 meals and 2 breakfasts. After 12 months, the child should be given regular food and milk. According to doctors, by 12 months the child's gums are fully developed. Giving finger food to the child after 1 year strengthens the gums. Not only this, by eating finger food, the child learns to chew the food properly. By feeding milk in this way, the mental and physical development of the child happens properly.
1). Start with a puree
Dr. Tarun says that solid food should not be given directly to the child after 6 months. The baby's food should be started with puree (liquid form). Parents can initially give the child purees like apple, carrot or sweet potato. While feeding puree to a small child, keep in mind that the child should not be fed the same fruit or vegetable puree continuously. If you have given apple puree to your child in the morning, then give him sweet potato puree in the evening. By doing this, the child will experience different tastes and he will show more interest in food.
2). Give pulses and lentils
To overcome the lack of blood in the child's body, include pulses and lentils in the diet after 6 months.
