According to the forecast of Meteorological Center Shimla, the weather will remain dry across the state for the next three-four days. After this, there will be a change in the weather due to the activation of western disturbance. There are chances of rain and snowfall in central and high mountain areas on 11th and 12th November. This may increase the severity of cold. During this period, there is a strong possibility of snowfall in tribal areas like Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur and Pangi-Bharmaur. Dry spell has been going on in the state for more than a month and people are eagerly waiting for rain and snowfall. There has been a delay in sowing of wheat due to lack of rain due to clouds, due to which the worries of the farmers have increased. There has been no rain in the state after the departure of monsoon on October 2. There was 98 percent less rainfall than normal in October, while the month of November also remained dry.
