After the rapid rise in water level, now the water of Sikarhana river has started spreading rapidly in the lower areas of Sugauli block. Therefore, flood water has also entered the Sugauli police station premises. Due to which police personnel are facing a lot of problems.
Apart from the police station premises, flood water has also entered the government quarters of police personnel. At present
Sugauli police station premises is flooded with about one and a half feet of water. It has been told that the water level is continuously increasing. Water has entered the residences of all the police personnel including the police station incharge and police inspector. If the water pressure continues to increase like this, water will enter the police station office and Malkhana by late evening. Hundreds of vehicles seized in various cases in the police station premises will also be in the grip of water.
Police officers posted at the police station said that water logging in the premises was creating hindrance in working. Apart from this, flood water has hit many areas of Sugauli Nagar area. Along with this, many schools and hundreds of houses in the rural areas of Sugauli have also been taken under control. As a result, the flood victims are forced to take shelter at higher places.
