East Champaran, June 03 (HS). On the eve of counting of votes for Lok Sabha elections, a flag march was taken out in Raxaul on Monday evening. The march was led by Raxaul DSP Dhirendra Kumar. Apart from the police officers of Raxaul police station, SSB jawans were also present in the march which started from the Raxaul police station premises.
During the flag march, the police officers assured the people that the police is always ready to protect them. There should be no dispute on the day of counting, legal action will be taken against those who try to create a dispute regarding counting. The flag march toured the entire Raxaul city, after which it also went to rural areas.
It is noteworthy that tomorrow there is counting of votes for Lok Sabha elections. The administration is alert to ensure that there is no dispute after the counting of votes in the border area. Police Inspector Rajiv Nandan Sinha and others were present on the spot.
