Five thieves who stole vehicles from outside government institutions arrested

Lucknow, 27 November (HS). Sushant Golf City police station has busted a vehicle theft gang and arrested five thieves. Eight stolen two-wheelers have been recovered from the accused.

Inspector in-charge Dhirendra Singh said that PGI Haivatmau resident Satyam Rawat alias Lali, Sunny Gautam, Abhishek Rawat, Usrikheda resident Raj Rawat and Amit Kumar Rawat, resident of Dahihar village of Mohanlalganj are involved in the incidents of vehicle theft. Following a tip-off, the police team raided an empty plot in front of the ISKCON temple and caught these persons.

During interrogation, these people were told that they steal motorcycles parked outside hospitals and other government institutions. After this, they hide those vehicles in the bushes and seeing the opportunity, decide on the customers and sell them. They fulfill their hobbies by dividing the money received in equal parts among themselves.
