The month of June is over and July 2024 has started from today. Like every month, this new month has also brought many changes. This includes everything from household kitchen budget to credit card rules. From the first date, the prices of LPG cylinders in the country have changed once again and oil marketing companies have given relief by reducing the prices of commercial gas cylinders.
Talking on mobile has become expensive; the price of 19 kg cylinder has gone down by Rs 30 in Delhi.
Another change – Payment by credit card
If you are using a credit card, then this rule has also changed from today. Changes related to credit card payment are going to be implemented from the first of the month. Due to this, some payment platforms may face problems related to bill payment. This platform includes things like Cred, Phone-Pe. According to the new rule of RBI, from July 1, i.e. today, all credit card bills will be through Bharat Bill Payment System i.e. BBPS. After this, billing will be done through All India Bill Payment System.
Third change – SIM card port rule
Many changes have been made by TRAI keeping security in mind. Once again the rules related to SIM cards have changed. This new rule has come into effect from today. TRAI has changed the mobile portability rules. This rule has been implemented to avoid SIM swap fraud. According to this rule, some caution should be taken in case the SIM card is stolen or damaged. Earlier, if the SIM card was stolen or damaged, a new SIM was immediately available from the store, but according to the new rule, the locking period has now been increased. Now users will have to watch the weather for seven days.
Fourth change: Talking on mobile will become expensive
The changes implemented in the month of July are related to mobile phones. From Reliance Jio to Airtel and Vodafone, all have made their tariff plans expensive. This new plan will be implemented from 3-4 July.
Fifth change: Banks will not open for 12 days
RBI has released the list of bank holidays in the month of July. Therefore, banks will remain closed for 12 days this month. These holidays will be calculated differently in different states depending on the scheme.
