1. KL Rahul – Rs. 14 crores (Delhi Capitals)
KL Rahul was released by Lucknow Supergiants after IPL 2024. He has also been a captain, a world-class wicketkeeper and a top batsman. Considering so much talent, a bid of at least Rs 20-25 crore was expected for him. But Delhi Capitals bought him for only Rs 14 crore.
2. Glam Maxwell – 4.20 crore (Punjab Kings)
Glenn Maxwell has been playing for RCB since 2020 and he received a salary of Rs 11 crore for playing last season. But this time Punjab Kings bought him for just Rs 4.20 crore. Maxwell was last seen playing for Punjab in 2017.
3. Rachin Ravindra – Rs 4 crore (CSK)
Rachin Ravindra made his IPL debut last season playing for Chennai Super Kings. Last season, he scored 222 runs in 10 matches for CSK. He came into limelight because of his strike rate of more than 160. Considering Ravindra’s growing stature in international cricket, Rs. The amount of Rs 4 crore seems very less.
4. Eden Markram – 2 Crore (LSG)
Aiden Markram is the current captain of the South African team. He was sold by Lucknow Super Giants for his base price i.e. Rs. Bought for 2 crores. Markram has also captained Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL and his cricket IQ is excellent. Despite this, no one bid more than Rs 2 crore on it.
5. Mitchell Marsh – Rs. 3.40 crore (LSG)
Mitchell Marsh is famous for hitting big hits with the bat and has been consistently taking wickets in bowling as well. He has taken 666 runs and 37 wickets in his IPL career. DC had given him Rs 6.50 crore to play last season, but this time Lucknow bought him cheaply by paying Rs 3.40 crore.
