Nawada, 27 August (HS). The police of Nawada Cyber police station took a big action on Tuesday and arrested 5 cyber criminals together. All the cunning cyber thugs caught by the police of Cyber police station used to sit in a garden and cheat people.
Cyber police station chief DSP Priya Jyoti said that they were cheating people from different states of the country in the name of giving loans at cheap rates from Islamic Finance Bank, Judio and Domino's franchise. The Economic Offenses Unit had provided the details of cyber criminals to the police of Cyber Police Station on the complaints received on the Cyber Police Portal. The police of Cyber Police Station has arrested 5 cyber criminals together by cordoning off a garden adjacent to Pangri village of Varisaliganj police station area.
During the raid, the police of Cyber Thana recovered 16 Android mobiles, 4 pages of customer data sheet, 4 Aadhar cards, 4 voter cards, 4 PAN cards, 4 ATM cards of different banks and two copies containing mobile number, name, email, state etc. All the cyber criminals caught by the police of Cyber Thana include Shashikant Kumar alias Bablu, son of Kedar Prasad of Pangri village of Warsaliganj police station area of Nawada district, Pawan Kumar, son of Naresh Prasad, Shashikant Kumar, son of Bablu Kumar, Shashikant Singh alias Guddu, son of Shailendra Kumar, resident of Khandak Par Mohalla of Bihar Sharif police station area of Nalanda district and Ravi Kumar, son of Ashok Prasad, resident of Devi Sarai Mohalla of Deep Nagar police station area.
As soon as the police got wind of the situation, many cyber criminals fled from the spot, while the police identified other cyber thugs and started raiding to arrest them. Many times, this police officer, including Ravi Ranjan Mandal, was also present in this raiding team.
