Five accused arrested in the case of murder of two including hotel manager in Koderma, one detained

Koderma, June 23 (HS). Police has arrested five accused in the murder case of a hotel manager and an employee. A minor has also been detained. Police has also seized the vehicle used in the crime, Tata Nexon, Bolero, pistol, 6 cartridges and 5 mobiles. All the accused are residents of Bihar, who had come to Shanti Hotel from Bihar to drink alcohol. The incident happened on Saturday night.

Koderma SP Anudeep Singh told a press conference at Nawalshahi police station on Sunday evening that five accused have been arrested in this double murder case, while a minor has been detained. The SP said that the youths arrested include Dilkhush Singh (24, Jamalpur, Patna), Ayush Kumar (22, Teghra, Begusarai), Pintu Kumar (23, Pathra English, Nawada), Gulshan Kumar (23, Kashichak, Nawada) and Sudhanshu Kumar (24, Pathra English, Nawada).

Actually, five youths from Bihar had reached this hotel in the border area of ​​Koderma to drink alcohol. All five youths drank a lot of alcohol in the hotel. After this, there was an argument between the hotel operator and the drinking youths regarding the payment of money. During the dispute, the hotel operator and other workers together beat up the youths. After this, the youths paid at the hotel and left from there after threatening.

Two hours after the fight, the five youths returned to the hotel again and started firing. Hotel manager Mohammed Naseem Eraki (30) and another employee Amjar Alam alias Rajan (32) died in the firing. Other hotel employees somehow managed to escape and save their lives.

After committing the crime, the five youths boarded a car parked there and fled, but in a hurry, while fleeing, the car collided with a divider in the Koderma valley. After this, the youths left the car there and started running through the forest. It is said that the youths had also called for another car from Bihar to escape, but due to the police raid and siege of the valley, the five youths were caught on the border of Bihar-Jharkhand.

The SP said that the police team included SDPO Jitwahan Oraon, DSP Headquarters Purushottam Kumar Singh, trainee DSP Diwakar Kumar, Koderma police station in-charge Sujeet Kumar, besides Arvind Kumar, Vikas Paswan, Saurabh Kumar Sharma, Praveen Kumar, Bambam Kumar and police force personnel from various police stations.
