Karnataka sex scandal case: Prajwal Revanna, the main accused in the Karnataka sex scandal, will appear before the SIT on May 31. Prajwal Revanna is absconding since the incident came to light. Recently, news came that he has fled abroad after the case came to light. Prajwal Revanna said in his statement, “A political conspiracy was hatched against me. I was going into depression. As I am moving forward politically, some forces are working against me.” I will be in front of the SIT on the 31st at 10 am and will cooperate. I have faith in the judiciary. False cases are being filed against me. I believe in the law.
Prajwal Revanna said that I want to apologize to my family members, my Kumaranna and party workers for not giving proper information about my whereabouts abroad.
I wrote to the SIT…
Prajwal further said that when the elections ended on the 26th, there was no case against me. SIT was not formed. 2-3 days after I left, I saw these allegations against me on YouTube. I wrote a letter to SIT through my lawyer and asked for 7 days time.
CM demands cancellation of Revanna's passport
Recently, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had demanded cancellation of Prajwal Revanna's diplomatic passport. Meanwhile, he wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding immediate action. In his letter, Siddaramaiah called it a matter of shame that Revanna used his diplomatic passport to leave the country immediately after the allegations surfaced and before the first case was registered against him.
