First installment paid to beneficiaries of Sarvajan Pension Scheme

Lohardaga, March 6 (Hindustan Reporter) Payment of the first installment to the beneficiaries of Sarvajan Pension Scheme (50-60 years), felicitation ceremony of Anganwadi workers, promotion of various schemes run by the department and nutrition fortnight were inaugurated in Nagar Bhawan on Wednesday.

In the programme, Anganwadi servants and assistants who performed well under the nutrition campaign were given a special incentive of Rs. 5000 and Rs. 2500 for the assistant and approval letters were given to the beneficiaries of Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana and Chief Minister Kanyadan Yojana, State. Under the Widow Remarriage Promotion Scheme, acceptance letters were given to 02 beneficiaries, along with this, baby shower and Annaprasan programs were also organized.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna said that the Sarvajan Pension Scheme (50-60 years) run by the state government is an important scheme, the first installment of which has been paid today, which will benefit many old age beneficiaries of the district, about nutrition. I called upon people to spread awareness among the masses because only proper nutrition will create a strong India.

Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat told that to make a malnutrition free district, we will have to make people aware about proper nutrition, in which everyone should participate so that we can make our Lohardaga district a malnutrition free district. He also urged more and more people to exercise their franchise in the upcoming Lok Sabha general elections in 2024.
