Haridwar, 03 July (HS). There is good news for Khanpur assembly of Haridwar. The government has released the budget for the construction of SIDCUL to be established in Khanpur. An amount of Rs 50 lakh has been released as the first installment. To prepare the initial detailed project report for public facilities like road, water, electricity etc. in SIDCUL, the drinking water department had submitted a report of the cost of Rs 52 crore to the government, on which the government has released Rs 50 lakh to the drinking water department.
Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar is constantly making efforts for the establishment of SIDCUL. In the past, teams of administrative officials had inspected the building several times and given the green signal for the construction of SIDCUL and now an amount of Rs 50 lakh has been released for basic facilities.
MLA Umesh Kumar has expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for this. He says that while the construction of SIDCUL will develop the rural area, it will also provide employment to the local people.
