First he put his hand on his mother's feet, then Ravneet Bittu took over the post of Minister of State, said- 'PM Modi's…'

Former MP and BJP candidate from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu took over as Minister of State for Railways in Delhi today. Bittu said that he will make every possible effort to take the railways forward. Bittu said that he is grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, who considered him capable of this.

Bittu said that he will work shoulder to shoulder with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav to improve rail services. He said that rail service is a work connected to the people at the grassroots level. Railways will be taken on the path of development by giving equal respect to everyone from rank-4 employees to officers.

It is worth noting that after Bittu became the state minister, the hope of completion of the high speed rail project between Amritsar-Delhi has been dashed. This track is about 465 km long. It will include not only Punjab but also Haryana. This project has just started and after its completion, the journey from Amritsar to Delhi will be reduced to a few hours.

There is the Chandigarh Rajpura railway route, which was approved in 2016 but is not yet completed. A token money of one thousand rupees was approved for this. If this project is completed, it will create employment opportunities for the people of many other states including Haryana and Tricity.

Apart from this, there are many industries based on railways in Punjab. Because many parts related to railways are made in Ludhiana, Mohali and Jalandhar. However, railway projects worth crores of rupees are going on in Punjab. After former Congress leader Pawan Bansal, this department has come to Punjab or Chandigarh.
