This incident is of Dussehra (12th August). NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was sitting in his office in Bandra, Mumbai. People were bursting crackers outside. Baba Siddiqui was attacked at around 9 pm amid the sound of firecrackers. Three people with handkerchiefs tied on their faces suddenly got out of the car and fired six rounds one after the other. Three of these bullets hit Baba Siddiqui. As soon as the bullet was fired, Baba Siddiqui fell on the ground. He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Police have arrested two accused. Raids are going on in search of the third person. If sources are to be believed, clues have been found which show that the shooter is a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. A post was made on social media. Later it was removed. The post said the Lawrence gang claimed responsibility for the murder. Actor Salman Khan was held responsible for this murder.

On 29 May 2022, Sidhu Moojwala was shot dead in Mansa district of Punjab. Sidhu was hit by several bullets in the attack and died on the spot.
