Fire wreaks havoc in Kundwa Chainpur, three dozen houses along with three children died

East Champaran, 25 April (H.I.S.). Three children of the same family got burnt to death in a massive fire that broke out amidst strong westerly wind at around 12 noon on Thursday in Gorganwa village of Jatwalia Panchayat of Kundwa Chainpur police station area of ​​the district. The three deceased are Vishal Kumar (6), Chhotu Kumar (4), Bittu Kumar (2), son of Shambhu Ram. The cause of the fire is not clear yet.

It is being told that due to the strong westerly wind in the afternoon, the fire took a huge form and about a dozen houses were burnt to ashes one after the other. After the incident, there was an outcry in the entire village. On receiving the information, Kundwa Chainpur police station and five fire brigade vehicles and the villagers brought the fire under control after a lot of effort.

Police Station Head Rakesh Kumar Rai, Dhaka CO and DSP Ashok Kumar were also present on the occasion. It was told that in this fire incident, more than forty houses were burnt, while one and a half dozen cattle also died due to scorching.

Sarpanch of Jatwalia Panchayat Ekramul Haq said that two bikes, cycles, clothes and grains worth lakhs were burnt. All the affected families support themselves by farming. Sikarhana SDO Nisha Kumari, who reached the incident site, said that compensation will be given to the family of the deceased. Also, all possible help will be provided to those whose houses have been burnt.
