Faridabad, 18 May (HS). A massive fire broke out in a utensils shop located in Sector 7 of Faridabad on Saturday morning. Within no time the fire spread so rapidly that it became difficult to control it. After the information, the fire department team reached the spot and tried to control the fire in the shop. But by then all the goods kept in the shop were burnt to ashes.
Deepak, a neighbor of the victim shop owner, told that his neighbors had gone out for a walk in the morning. While coming back, when he came in front of the shop, he saw smoke coming out of the shop. The shop owner informed the local police and fire department team. After receiving the information, the fire brigade reached the spot and tried to control the fire. But the fire spread so fast that it became difficult to control the fire. About a dozen fire engines reached the spot to control the fire. By the time the fire was extinguished, all the goods kept in the shop were burnt to ashes. Due to this, the shopkeeper has suffered a loss of lakhs of rupees, but the fortunate thing is that no one died in the accident. Deepak Kalra said that the cause of the fire is said to be short circuit.
