A fire broke out in a liquor vend and its premises located in BPTP area of Greater Faridabad on Thursday, but the fire was so severe that the entire contents of the premises were burnt to ashes. It is estimated that there will be a loss of crores of rupees due to this fire. After receiving information about the incident, the local police and fire brigade team reached the spot and controlled the fire after hours of hard work.
It is being told that the fire may have started due to short circuit. On the spot, the local people made serious allegations against the district administration and the local police and said that the district administration took a long time in calling the fire brigade, the fire brigade arrived after half an hour. Due to this the courtyard was completely reduced to ashes. There has been a loss of approximately crores of rupees due to this fire. The flames were very bright and black smoke covered the sky. A local resident said that it was fortunate that there were no other buildings or shops nearby, otherwise the accident could have been even worse.
