FIR will be filed against those who burn stubble

Faridabad, 22 October (HIST). District Magistrate Vikram Singh said that the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, Faridabad has decided in compliance with the instructions of the Supreme Court that the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department will lodge an FIR against the farmer who burns stubble. Apart from this, red entry of such farmers will be recorded in 'Mera Fasal Mera Byora' of the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department and there will be a ban on selling paddy, wheat and all other crops in the market for two seasons.

Dr. Anil Kumar, Deputy Agriculture Director, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, said that instead of burning the stubble, farmers can mix the residue in the fields by using it for months. Under the government scheme, farmers who mix stubble residue in the land through Super Seeder, Happy Seeder, Reversible MB Plough, Zero Till Seed Drill, Rotavator and Harrow will get a benefit of Rs 1,000 per acre under In Situ and Ex Situ Management Scheme. Can pick up. Doing this will benefit the farmers financially and will also save them from smoke pollution generated from stubble.
