Bhopal, 9 October (HS). An FIR was registered in the Bhopal Crime Branch on Wednesday against Maharashtra Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) leader Sanjay Rawat for his statement regarding the Laadli Brahmin scheme being run in Madhya Pradesh. This FIR has been registered on the complaint of BJP Mahila Morcha.
Actually, Sanjay Raut had recently given a statement in Mumbai regarding the closure of Ladli Behan Scheme in Madhya Pradesh. After this, BJP Mahila Morcha leader Sushma Chauhan in Bhopal had complained to Crime Branch's ACP Mukhtar Qureshi. At the same time, State Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has also hit back at Sanjay Raut and termed his statement as misleading the voters of Maharashtra.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Akhil Patel said that the Bhopal Crime Branch registered a case on the complaint of BJP Mahila Morcha district unit president Vandana Jachak and its vice president Sushma Chauhan. A case was registered against Raut under sections 353 (2) (disseminating statements containing false information) and 356 (2) (defamation) of the Indian Judicial Code. The complainants accused Raut of making a deliberately misleading statement that the Laadli Behna scheme had been discontinued. The FIR said that the purpose of this statement was to malign the image of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
It is noteworthy that in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP government is running Ladli Brahmin Yojana with the aim of improving the economic condition of women, under which eligible women beneficiaries are given Rs 1250 every month. On the lines of Ladli Brahmin Yojana, BJP-Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) government in Maharashtra has also launched Majhi Ladki Brahmin Yojana. Under this scheme, women are being given Rs 1500 every month.
On October 7, Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) leader Sanjay Raut, while talking to the media, had said that this scheme is not successful anywhere in the country. This is a complete political game. You go to Madhya Pradesh and see whether the scheme is started or not. What is the order of the Finance Secretary there? This is a very invalid scheme, which will not be fruitful. The entire economy will collapse. This dear sister scheme will run for one more month and will be discontinued later. There will be no salary of our government employees, police, teachers during Diwali. All this is happening in the name of Ladli Behan Yojana.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav retorted to Raut's statement on Wednesday and said that ever since we started the Ladli Brahmin Yojana, we have been continuously giving money to 1 crore 29 lakh sisters of the state every month at the fixed time. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of our 500 years ago's empress, the brave queen Rani Durgavati, we have deposited an amount of Rs 5,000 each in the accounts of sisters across the state. Not a single month passes in which this amount is not deposited. But due to fear of defeat, people of Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) are trying to mislead voters in Maharashtra elections. I would once again like to tell all my voters not to believe in such false conspiracies. This is an amount of women empowerment that we cannot even think of stopping. We hope that the lives of the sisters will get better under our scheme.
