FIR registered against CSC operators and officials for not taking interest in making Ayushman cards

Saharsa, 25 June (HS). District Magistrate Vaibhav Choudhary directed Mr. Rupesh Ranjan, District Manager and Trambkeshwar Dubey, District Coordinator, Basudha Center to take action against BLEs who were not interested in the work in the special Ayushman card making camp under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.

Anand Kumar, CSC operator Bangaon, was directed to deactivate his CSC ID and register an FIR against him for not making Ayushman cards at the Public Distribution System Centre and instead making cards at his own CSC centre and demanding money from the beneficiaries in lieu of this. Also, in the daily review by various Block Development Officers, Sub-divisional and District level officers, it was told about some BLEs working with the intention of non-cooperative and corrupt conduct and the list of non-working BLEs was provided and directed to take action against them. But despite repeated reminders in written and oral form by Shri Ranjan and Shri Dubey, no action was taken against all the BLEs who were not interested in the work nor was an FIR registered against the BLEs who were demanding money from the beneficiaries.

It should be noted that the Land Reforms Sub-Divisional Magistrate has also requested the Block Development Officer, Sattarkataiya, Simri Bakhtiyarpur, Salkhua, Kahra on the Whatsapp Group of the District Administration for punitive action. The orders of the higher officer have been disobeyed by Shri Ranjan and Shri Dubey. Also, it shows their negligence towards their work, arbitrariness and their act of failing the ambitious schemes of the Government of India and the Government of Bihar. It is clear from their act that they are also involved in the negligence and extortion of money by BLE and are being protected till date.

The District Magistrate directed that in order to not take action against the BLEs who collected money for work in the special Ayushman card making camp and the BLEs who were not interested in the work, and on the charge of participation in the work of collecting money from the beneficiaries in lieu of making Ayushman cards, an FIR has been registered against public servants Rupesh Ranjan, District Manager, Trimbakeshwar Dubey, District Coordinator, Vasudha Kendra, Saharsa and Anand Kumar BLE Bangaon under relevant sections and the Police Station Head Sadar has been directed to provide a copy of the same.
