Ranchi, June 22 (HS). An FIR has been registered against land dealer Kamlesh Kumar under the Arms Act at Kanke police station. The station in-charge confirmed this on Saturday. This action has been taken at the behest of the ED.
It is noteworthy that on Friday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the flat number 603 (C) of Aster Green Apartment located at Kanke Road Chandni Chowk of land dealer Kamlesh Kumar. In this raid, ED found Rs 1 crore in cash, documents related to land business and 100 rifle cartridges.
The recovered cartridges were handed over to the Kanke police station by the ED and asked to register a case in the matter. An FIR has been registered under the Arms Act in this regard. However, the land dealer Kamlesh could not be caught by the ED. The ED had issued summons to him several times for questioning in the land purchase and sale case with the help of fake documents. He kept asking for time from the ED for several days and later absconded. ED officials are searching for Kamlesh.
