In the stone pelting case at BJP's Yuva Aakrosh rally in Morhabadi, Ranchi, an FIR was registered on Saturday against 51 named and 12 thousand unknown people in Ranchi's Lalpur police station. In this regard, the FIR has been registered on the statement of Executive Magistrate Sanjay Kumar.
A case has been registered against BNS under various sections in this matter. The sections registered include disturbing peace, attempting murder, obstructing work and other charges.
It is noteworthy that during BJP's Yuva Aakrosh Rally in Ranchi's Morhabadi on Friday, people had gathered near the barricades to march towards the Chief Minister's residence. At the same time, the police used tear gas shells, rubber bullets and water cannon to stop the crowd from moving ahead. This led to furious BJP workers pelting stones on the police. In this, seven police personnel including the SHO were injured. While six workers including BJP's former MP Yadunath Pandey were injured.
